City of Ottawa selects MultiCorpora to support their initiative in French Language Services

Gatineau, Québec, Canada, April 16, 2007 – MultiCorpora, a leading provider of language and text mining technology solutions, announced today that the City of Ottawa has selected MultiCorpora’s MultiTrans 4 Suite, an integrated Translation Memory and Terminology Management System, as the cornerstone of their initiative to efficiently and proactively manage their growing translation environment.

The City of Ottawa selected MultiCorpora after a comprehensive review of cutting edge Translation and Terminology software solutions, followed by an open competition Request for Proposal process which was designed to identify “overall the best value solution” available to the City today and well into the future.

It is expected that the implementation of the MultiTrans products and services, which form the basis of this new multi-year agreement, will begin in Q2 of this year.

The solution proposed to the City of Ottawa, leverages the advanced features and functionality of the MultiTrans 4 suite, including a combination of MultiTrans client/server and web based technology, and is supported through a comprehensive implementation plan which combines project management, installation support, training, process and change management consulting, as well as ongoing product maintenance and support.
